If Just Juliet Attended Hogwarts

So anyone who keeps up with my personal life knows I have a huge Harry Potter problem. (Huge. Like, I’m drowning, send help.) The other day coriandour asked me what houses the characters of Just Juliet would be in, and I thought it would make a good blog post.

For anyone who doesn’t know shit about Harry Potter, I’m sorry. I mean, really, I’m sorry, because that sucks. You should do something about that 😉

Okay, so, let’s get started, shall we?

Lena – I really think Lena would be a Hufflepuff. She’s a fairly chill person, patient in her own right, and definitely loyal. Most likely she’s an average student without really trying. Likes trips to Hogsmeade more than anything else. Complains about History of Magic. Totally works in the library. Doesn’t really care about Quidditch.

Juliet – I thought on Juliet for a long time, but I eventually landed on Slytherin. It’s the ambition the most I think. Besides, she just kind of has a Slytherin like aura, don’t you think? She’d probably do her best in Charms and likely can’t ride a broomstick to save her life. Still, she’s definitely a Quidditch fan.

Lacey – I thought about Lacey a lot too, because her personality is complex enough that she really could fit in just about any house. I think in the end I’d put her in Ravenclaw, because even though she doesn’t talk about her intelligence a lot, it is a very important part of her. Not to mention, she’s definitely an individual. She’d probably work her hardest on diminishing house separation, be top of her year, Head Girl, and likely in the dueling club. (She’d probably go on to be an Unspeakable).

Scott – Gryffindor! Boy has a stubborn streak a mile long. I usually count Scott as the ‘good influence’ so it makes sense that he’d be in the ‘good guy house’. He definitely makes the brave decision when the time comes. You can count on him to be passing on an Acceptable, likely in the dueling club, definitely Quidditch Captain. He’d probably go on to play professionally, as a Chaser.

Matt – Another Hufflepuff! Matt is the loyalist of loyal friends! I think he’d probably be good at Herbology (most likely in trouble a lot for trying to learn how to grow illegal plants) and an overall decent student. Sneaks into the kitchens late at night. Nice to House Elves. Professors favorite. Probably plays Keeper and Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff games are the only times anyone will catch Matt trash talking Scott.

Lakyn – Don’t even play like this little shit isn’t 100% Slytherin. Top student, excels at everything but particularly Potions, avid Quidditch fan. Likely Prefect for a year if only because it gave him better access to break rules. Cheats at everything.

As a side note, Mr. James would have been a Gryffindor.

Okay! That’s it for my first blog post! Thanks for reading! If you want to send me questions, feel free, you might just get featured! Huge thanks to coriandour for asking this one!

(and now I kind of wan to write a Harry Potter AU about my own book lmao.)

Interesting. I would have pegged Lacey as Gryffindor for sure. Yep, she’s super smart but she’s also a bitch with a heart of gold. Doesn’t mind breaking the rules, but not without good reason, y’know?

I mean, you’re not wrong. It was really hard to house her. But you know, it’s the Sassy Ravenclaw troupe that eventually lead me there for her. She might be breaking the rules, but she’d be doing it through loopholes and ultimately make the people who wrote the rules in the first place look like idiots, ya know? But by all means, put her in Gryffindor yourself! It works haha.
